About Gallery Audit
Gallery Audit is an iPhone app that finds your best shots and shows what's worth clearing. It groups bursts and look-alike photos, picks the best of each and rates every photo in a date range as Keeper, Mid or Discard, with a reason for each.
Who makes it
Gallery Audit and this website are made by BYTE REFINE, MB, a small partnership (mažoji bendrija) registered in Lithuania (company code 308158514), based in Vilnius. The full company details are in the legal notice, and the company's own site is www.byterefine.com.
What the app promises
- The analysis runs on your iPhone. There's no account, and your photos are never uploaded.
- Nothing is deleted until you choose what to clear and confirm, and deleted photos go to Recently Deleted, where you can usually recover them for 30 days (if your iCloud storage is full, iOS deletes them right away).
- Any photo you've marked as a Favorite is always a Keeper.
- Usage stats that aren't linked to you are off unless you turn them on. The privacy policy lists exactly what they include.
Where it is now
Gallery Audit is coming soon to the App Store, for iPhone with iOS 26 or later. It will be free to download, with audits free and Gallery Audit Pro for unlimited deletes, albums and more (see pricing). Join the waitlist and we'll email you once when it launches. Until then, the blog has guides to cleaning up an iPhone camera roll, with or without the app.
